The Ministry of Science and Technology's alcohol-based liquid fuel demonstration base, Henan Chaochao Clean Energy Technology Co., Ltd. has been completed and put into trial production this month. The project is located in Jiaozuo City, a recycling economy industrial cluster area, with a total investment of 324 million yuan, and an annual output of 100,000 tons of new multi-carbon alcohol solvent and high-clean alcohol ether fuel.
It is reported that, compared with gasoline, diesel, and liquefied petroleum gas, the obvious economic comparability of alcohol-based fuels with high thermal efficiency has received increasing attention from the industry. Alcohol-based fuels can also be combined with gasoline and diesel fuel to form new fuels for transportation vehicles and other transportation tools.
According to reports, alcohol-based fuels are mainly composed of alcohols such as methanol, ethanol, and butanol, and are biomass energy. Like nuclear energy, solar energy, wind energy, and water energy, alcohol-based fuels are environmentally-friendly alternatives to petrochemical energy.
