Pear Link is a detachable shackle, both sides of different dimension, so it can be used to connect two pieces of mooring line/chain with different dimensions.
Pear Link is recommended to join swivel at the end of a mooring line to the anchor shackle of MK5 / MK6 anchor.
It's easy to disassemble and assemble, so it's widely used in short term mooring and temporary mooring.
