Up to now, all the foreign introduction technology work of the Tianjin ethylene project has progressed smoothly. In the introduction of ethylene technology, the commercial contract for the introduction of ethylene oxide/ethylene glycol plant technology was formally signed on March 30th, with technology from the Dow Corporation; 300,000 tons/year high-density polyethylene plant technology introduction business contract It was signed on April 20th and the technology came from the United States Shell Corporation; and the supplier selection of linear low density polyethylene and polypropylene is currently at the end.
The total investment of the Tianjin Dawei Project is 25 billion yuan, which is the first oversized project approved by the State after the Binhai New Area was included in the overall development strategy of the country. After the completion of the project, Tianjin Petrochemical will become one of China's 10 million-ton oil refining and million-ton ethylene integrated production bases.
