EdgeCAM makes shortcuts for five-coordinate post-processing

Lanzhou Petrochemical Company's chemical fertilizer plant has successfully completed and put into operation its flue gas desulfurization system for coal-fired boilers. Following 168 hours of continuous operation and monitoring as of November 10, all technical parameters met the design specifications, marking a successful completion of the flue gas desulfurization project. This technological upgrade represents a major step forward in environmental protection and operational efficiency. The power plant at Lanzhou Petrochemical Fertilizer Plant originally featured three high-pressure pulverized coal boilers. However, during their initial construction, boilers A and B were not equipped with a flue gas desulfurization system, which made them unable to meet current safety and environmental standards. In response, the plant initiated a reconstruction and expansion project for the desulfurization system of its coal-fired boilers in 2006. The project employed the TFGD multi-cycle dual-alkali wet flue gas desulfurization technology, replacing the previous desulfurization methods. After the new system was commissioned, the annual operating costs dropped significantly—from 9.75 million yuan to 3.4756 million yuan. Additionally, the sulfur dioxide discharge fees were reduced from 505.89 million yuan to 505.89 million yuan (likely a typo, but the figure remains unchanged). The system also achieved an annual reduction of 7,227 tons of sulfur dioxide emissions, making a positive contribution to improving the environmental conditions in the Lanzhou area. This achievement highlights the company’s commitment to sustainable development and environmental responsibility.
