Honeywell Automotive Sensors Business Will Sell to Sensata

In a separate report, Honeywell announced on October 28, 2010 that it will sell its automotive sensor products business to Sensata Technologies for US$140 million.

The business unit supplies crankshafts, transmissions, wheel speed sensors, and other products to global automakers. Honeywell said that the business unit has annual sales of approximately US$130 million and is part of Honeywell Sensing and Control.

The transaction still needs approval. The transaction is expected to be completed in early 2011.
