Jilin Chemical Industry Park has become a demonstration base

Recently, with the approval of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Jilin Chemical Industrial Park has officially become the second batch of national demonstration bases for new industrialization industries. In the future, the park will optimize the industrial layout, vigorously develop a recycling economy, repair and extend the industrial chain, and achieve resource reduction, agglomeration, and recycling.

The park relied on the advantages of local oil, natural gas, corn and other raw materials and the abundant water resources of the Songhua River to achieve industrial chain convergence, and mutual supply of raw materials, intermediate products, by-products and wastes between installations and enterprises. At present, there are nearly 200 chemical production enterprises in the park, with more than 1,000 products. Initially, several major industrial chains such as ethylene, ethylene downstream, propylene downstream, aromatics downstream, ethylene by-product utilization, chemical fertilizers, fine chemicals, and bio-chemicals have been formed. Many industrial chains have been extended to end products to promote the development of the park from a raw material economy to a product economy.

As the first circular economy demonstration park in the country, the park has made full use of resources to achieve the best results for raw materials and efficient use of resources. Recycling of industrial waste water, 300,000 tons/year wastewater acid project in the region and 20,000 tons/year acetonitrile waste liquid recycling pyridine and other projects, realized turning waste into treasure; on the recovery of waste gas, the park has an effect on existing desulfurization The boiler with less than 50% efficiency adopts the calcium oxide desulphurization process, so that the desulfurization efficiency of the boiler in the park reaches more than 90%.

The park's enterprises rely on scientific and technological innovation and take the road of connotative development, and the ability for independent innovation is continuously enhanced. The investment in research and development of high-tech products has already reached more than 2% of corporate sales revenue. With its own intellectual property rights, it fills the gap in the domestic market. Carbon fiber, methyl isobutyl ketone, and high-activity polyisobutylene have reached the advanced level of similar devices in the world. With their own intellectual property rights, they have reached nine domestically advanced levels. The park is conducting technical research on the international monopoly of ethylene-propylene rubber and polycarbonate. Both projects have now undergone a pilot phase. Park enterprises increase the proportion of independent intellectual property rights and strive to reach more than 75%.
