Since the project was established in 2012, the project team has been facing the national major basic research and engineering application requirements. For the urgent need of high-precision time-frequency instruments and equipment, systematic and in-depth theory on signal generation, transmission and measurement has been carried out. Method research, autonomously and controllably broke through a series of key technologies, successfully developed the main equipment such as the helium atomic fountain clock device, the helium atomic light clock device, the optical fiber time and frequency transmission equipment, the time and frequency measurement equipment, and organically formed a new generation of time frequency. system. In the research and application, the project team has published 111 journal articles, 44 applications and patents for invention patents, and 12 patents for utility model patents. Some of the technologies and research and development equipments that have been mastered have played an important role in important national projects. Based on the results of the project, the project team successively applied for the development task of the “high-precision time-frequency experimental system” of the space station and the “high-precision ground-based timing system” of the “13th Five-Year” national major science and technology infrastructure.
Through the implementation of the project, a group of outstanding young talents have been trained and developed into an excellent research team with considerable influence in the field of time and frequency in China.
During the acceptance of the project, under the leadership of Wu Peiheng, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, 24 experts from research institutes and institutions of higher learning formed the instrument test group, the financial acceptance team and the technical file group to conduct on-site acceptance of the project. Through the on-site measurement of the development equipment, the instrument test group considered that the equipment was running stably, and completed all the research contents in the plan. The technical indicators met or exceeded the requirements of the plan, and achieved the expected performance indicators and research goals. The financial acceptance group and the technical archives group have reviewed the financial and archival materials on-site, and considered that the project scientific research and financial management system is relatively sound, the accounting standards are basically standardized, the project capital expenditure is basically reasonable, the project file system is complete, the content is true and reliable, and the volume is relatively The specification is reasonable and can accurately reflect the whole process of the development of the instrument and equipment, and meet the quality standards and technical requirements of the archive.
In the end, the acceptance expert group believed that the project team had completed the scheduled development of the instrument and made outstanding progress, and agreed to pass the acceptance.
Hao Yue, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, gave a high evaluation of the project development work in the acceptance review, and fully affirmed the fruitful results achieved by the project team. He suggested that the project team should further improve the opening and sharing of instruments in the future, so that major scientific instruments and equipment can play a greater role.
