The applicant requested anti-dumping investigations on imported PBT resin originating in Japan and Taiwan. The Ministry of Commerce shall, based on the relevant provisions of the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Anti-dumping, examine the qualifications of the applicant, the relevant circumstances of the application for investigation of the product, the situation of similar products in the Chinese mainland, the effect of the application for investigation of the product on the domestic industry, and the application for investigation of the country (region) The relevant circumstances were reviewed. At the same time, the Ministry of Commerce reviewed the evidence provided in the application concerning dumping, damage, causation between dumping and damage, etc. The preliminary evidence submitted by the applicant indicates that the applicant is in compliance with the provisions of the Anti-dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China on the application of anti-dumping investigations by domestic industries. At the same time, the application contains the contents required for anti-dumping investigation and the relevant evidence as stipulated in the Anti-dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China.
The survey will begin on the same day and should normally end before June 6, 2006. It may be extended to December 6, 2006 under special circumstances.
