The Qingdao Urban Public Transport Intelligent Application Demonstration Project, which was constructed by the Qingdao Municipal Transportation Committee, has recently entered the project implementation phase and will complete the main construction by the end of 2016. According to the implementation plan, the project plans to invest 76.407 million yuan, which will build a “one system, two-level center and three platformsâ€, including a comprehensive urban public transportation operation status monitoring system, an industry unified public transportation data resource center and “enterprise-industryâ€. "Two levels of data resource centers, enterprise operation intelligent dispatching platform, passenger travel information service platform, urban public transport industry supervision platform."
After the completion of the project, Qingdao vehicle intelligent service terminal installation coverage will reach 100%, equipment online rate of 95% or more, to achieve unified monitoring and information collection of urban public transport system in operations, security, services and other aspects.
