20 VOLVO Hydraulic Excavators Put into Construction of Shaoyong Expressway

Recently, Volvo Construction Equipment (China) Co., Ltd. has partnered with its Guangdong distributor, Guangzhou Zhongnan Huaxing Equipment Co., Ltd., and the Guangdong Luen Thai Group Co., Ltd. to secure 20 procurement contracts for VOLVO hydraulic excavators intended for the Shaoyong Expressway project, which stretches from Erenhot to Guangzhou. Specifically, this includes the construction of the National Expressway section between Shaoyang and Yongzhou in Hunan Province. The Shao-Yong Expressway, a 111-kilometer-long infrastructure project, officially commenced in May of this year and is scheduled to be completed by May 2009. So far, 15 of the 20 Volvo hydraulic excavators have already arrived in Yongzhou, Hunan, with the remaining five expected to be delivered by June.
