Safe operation of regenerative equipment

The washing process of saturated resin is to achieve the best cleanness of the resin, so that the reclaimed village fat does not contain mineral sand and wood chips. The presence of ore will accumulate in the lower part of the regeneration column, causing the solution passage rate to be reduced to a minimum, and reducing the treatment capacity of the regeneration column. The presence of wood chips can block the discharge screen, the air lifter pipe, and increase the consumption of the agent during the process. Under normal circumstances, the regeneration tank is cleaned once a month to remove accumulated resin and dirt. And clean the entire tank. When repairing the regenerative column, first transfer the resin and solution to the next column with an air lifter, wash the column with water, and then repair it. Repairs include replacing worn components, removing and servicing air lifts, repairing the discharge unit and replacing the screen, and servicing heated coils and other connecting parts.

The adsorption and regeneration process of the resin always contains toxic chemicals (cyanide, thiourea, concentrated acid, concentrated alkali), so the safety in operation is extremely important.

According to the former Soviet Union national standard (ГОСТ14202-69), equipment and pipes used for cyanide solution work are painted red, and equipment and pipes used for alkali solution work are painted brown to avoid mistakes during production and use.

Hydrocyanic acid is a volatile poisonous gas that is easy to produce in the process. The gas mask should be kept in the section and the presence and application of protective equipment, tools and equipment should be checked at the beginning of the work. Safety education is often provided to staff and emergency medicine is available for first aid during poisoning. Work clothes should be placed in the isolation room, and the staff should shower and replace all clothes after work. The section should be equipped with a carbon tetrachloride fire extinguisher for use when the motor is on fire (do not use a foam fire extinguisher).

The solution and resin in the regeneration section contain gold and silver . It is strictly forbidden to leak equipment and containers. In order to prevent the loss of gold and silver caused by the overflow of the solution, there should be a production drainage ditch in the section, concentrate the solution in a special pool and pump it back to the adsorption section.

The lack of paper making raw materials is a common problem, the use of seasonal growth plants or wild trees etc for the paper pulp is an effective solution.However, using this material pulping will produce a lot of black liquor containing inorganic compounds, how can get more fiber pulp, low investment to processing black liquor which can let it reach the  water recycling or reach the discharge standard of environmental protection, it has been a worldwide problem all the time.
