According to foreign reports, the German Bosch Group recently opened a new auto parts production plant in India to replace the company’s previously rented factory.
The new plant is located in Oragadam, Chennai, India. It covers an area of ​​40,000 square meters and has a building area of ​​9,000 square meters. Bosch has invested 350 million rupees (about 6.4 million US dollars) for the plant.
In addition to producing drive systems, thermal systems and wiper systems for customers in the Indian automotive market, the new plant also includes design, development and testing capabilities.
Bosch India's customers include Hyundai, Ford, General Motors, Mahindra, Renault, Nissan, and Volkswagen. The supply of components includes window lifters, engine cooling modules, cooling modules, and wiper systems.
