The BSV series back-flushing control valves are 3-way, single-chamber hydraulic-driven diaphragm valves that offer low-pressure sealing and smooth flow transitions. These valves can be integrated with gravel or disc filters to create an automatic backwashing filtration system, and they also allow for directional flow changes in water supply systems.

How It Works

In normal filtering mode, the inflow and outlet are connected, allowing straight water flow. When pressurized water enters the diaphragm control chamber, the diaphragm moves the spool assembly upward, closing the inflow and opening the sewage outlet. This allows backflow from the outlet to the sewage line, initiating the backwash cycle. When the control chamber is drained, the pressure and spring force return the spool to its original position, resealing the outlet and resuming filtration.
