Magnetic Drum-Product Description
Permanent magnetic drum is also called magnetic pulley, an apparatus used for magnetite ore, mainly used for pre-concentration before fine crushing or grinding to remove gangue, deads, and tailings, with a tailings out rate of about 10%.
Magnetic Drum-Work Principle
The materials are uniformly fed onto the belt. When materials pass through the permanent magnetic drum, non-magnetic and low-magnetic particles leave the belt surface due to centrifugal force and gravity. Meanwhile, strong-magnetic particles are absorbed by the belt and fall into the magnetic trough when the belt leaves the magnetic pulley.

1. Used in lean iron roughing after roughing crushing or middling crushing to remove deads, improve grade, and reduce the load of the next procedure.
