Gear design gears are the main source of noise in the transmission system, propagating noise at natural frequencies and meshing frequencies. Improving the machining accuracy of gears is not the only way to reduce gear noise, but an important means. Gear errors and surface roughness almost all have an important impact on transmission noise. In the design, strict requirements must be placed on the accuracy of the gear according to the needs of the transmission system. Since the spur gear has better machining process than the helical gear, it can be manufactured more accurately, so the meshing impact is small during operation and the noise is small, which is widely used. However, the meshing coefficient of the helical gear can be designed to be large, the contact between the tooth faces is relatively slipped during the meshing process, and the motion is stable, so the noise of the helical gear is smaller than that of the spur gear, especially when the load is increased, the noise is increased. Not as obvious as a spur gear, in the transmission design, in addition to the spur gear, the spur gear should be used as much as possible.
For high-speed, light-weight and thin oil pump gears, high-damping, high-strength nylon or non-metallic materials can be used. The multi-slide gear block should be designed to be assembled. Each gear is separately machined separately and then assembled into a gear block, which not only improves the machining process but also ensures the machining accuracy. Shaft design High-speed rotary spindles or other high-quality drive shafts should be balanced to reduce motion shock and vibration. The rigidity of the shaft has a lot to do with gear noise. Insufficient rigidity of the shafting system will significantly increase the gear noise due to bending and torsional vibration, so the aspect ratio of the shaft is preferably not more than 5:1. Try not to use a cantilever structure, and the gear should be installed close to the bearing. The lubrication method has a damping effect. A certain thickness of the oil film prevents the tooth surface from coming into direct contact and attenuates the vibration. Therefore, good lubrication is advantageous for reducing noise.
