Sichuan Hebang Co., Ltd. issued an announcement on the 19th that the company signed the Mabian Phosphate Mine Mining, Transport and Downstream Project Investment Agreement with the People's Government of Sichuan Mabian Autonomous County. It plans to invest 2 billion yuan to implement the mining and transportation and downstream projects of the Phad Phosphorus mine and the comprehensive phosphate development project and the upstream self-produced phosphoric acid project.
According to the announcement, an investment of 1 million tons/year of phosphate mining will be selected and invested, and an estimated investment of RMB 1.3 billion will be invested. Among them, the wholly-owned subsidiary Sichuan Hebang Phosphate Mine Co., Ltd. has started investing in the mining and primary project of the phosphate rock project since the end of 2011, with a total investment of about 200 million yuan. The total investment for the addition of 1 million tons of phosphate rock primary and the subsequent phosphate rock flotation and pipeline transportation project to be implemented by Hebang Phosphate Mine is about 800 million yuan. The project feasibility report is currently being prepared. Hebang Phosphate intends to invest RMB 300 million to build a phosphate rock transportation pipeline to the new town to realize the delivery of phosphate rock shipboard.
The comprehensive phosphate development project and the upcoming supporting self-produced phosphoric acid project and other ancillary projects are expected to invest RMB 700 million in the site of Shabantan Village, Niuhua Town, Wutongqiao District, Leshan City, Sichuan Province.
The above project investment period is from 2013 to 2015. After completion of the project, it is expected that the annual sales income will be RMB 2 billion, and the annual profit and tax will be RMB 320 million.
