Lubricate the rubber sealing ring with a non-oil-based lubricant and inspect for any damage. In terms of welded connections, a frequent issue is misalignment of the pipe ends, leading to uneven joints after butt welding. To resolve this, trim a short section of the pipe before proceeding. If the pipes still don’t fit tightly after welding, check for ovality caused by manufacturing or transport damage. Trimming and reprocessing may be necessary. Blisters at the nozzle could result from welding techniques or zinc tumors that hinder proper welding. Address these by removing excess zinc carefully. Regarding threaded connections, random thread buckling can occur, preventing a tight seal between the pipe coupling and threads. Remove the affected section and rethread the pipe. Mismatched threads between the pipe and coupling necessitate replacing the coupling or adjusting the threading equipment. Missing threads after threading indicate potential wall thickness issues; ensure the pipe meets the required standards.
