Just came across this listing on the Quad County Fire Equipment Facebook page and thought it was worth sharing. It’s for a really solid rescue truck that could be a great fit for smaller departments or anyone looking to beef up their fleet.

**1999 Spartan General Rescue**

This thing is in decent shape and has seen some use but still looks like it can handle a lot more action. It's got an 18-foot walk-around rescue body, which gives you plenty of space to work with. The cab seats five total, including four SCBA-compatible seats, so there’s room for a good-sized crew. Under the hood, it’s powered by an 8.3L Cummins engine cranking out 330 horsepower, with just over 3,120 engine hours on it. The Allison transmission should hold up well too.
Tires are in good condition—front tires are 12R22.5, and the rears are 11R22.5. The Q2 siren and air horns in the bumper add that classic fire truck sound, while the winch at the front gives you some serious pulling power when needed.
When it comes to tools and equipment, this rig has everything you’d expect from a general rescue vehicle. There’s a 4-bottle cascade system at 4,000 PSI, two Hurst hydraulic hose reels, and a hydraulic AMPS 10 kW generator to keep things running smoothly. You also get cord reels on both sides, along with six 1,000-watt scene lights to light up any operation.
