China University of Geosciences and Sany Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. Develop New Excavators

It was learned from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) that the school and Sany Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Sany Heavy Machinery") jointly developed a new type of front shovel hydraulic excavator with independent intellectual property rights. It is reported that this is China's first multi-linkage mechanism large shovel hydraulic excavator.

"The biggest difference from an ordinary excavator is that there is no need for an auxiliary hydraulic system and the execution system is completely different." The first inventor of this model is Prof. Ding Huafeng (School of Mechanical and Electronic Information, Geda University, Germany). Young fund winners and professors from Chutian Scholars told reporters that in order to develop a new type of shovel hydraulic excavator, his team applied his own original software to comprehensively synthesize the structure of the hydraulic excavator. The mechanism configuration covering all the existing shovel hydraulic excavators existing at home and abroad is now available, and a new mechanism with excellent performance is obtained through optimization. The mechanism is composed of 12 rods, which is compared with the traditional 10-bar hydraulic shovel. The excavator has added three rocker and link rods, but the new model does not require auxiliary hydraulic cylinders, and it can rely on the mechanism itself to achieve flat shovels and vertical lifting operations. Compared with the 12-bar "Power Triangle" model invented by Germany, the design and manufacture are simpler and the control is more convenient, which greatly improves the excavation loading performance and efficiency. In the close cooperation between Prof. Ding Huafeng's team and Sanyueji Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd., through detailed calculations, multiple simulations, and optimized design to overcome many technical difficulties, it took more than three years to successfully develop a miniature prototype in Sany Heavy Machinery.

It is reported that the development of high-end mechanical equipment with excellent performance and proprietary intellectual property rights is one of the core contents of "Made in China 2025", and it is also the fundamental guarantee for realizing the progress from "Made in China" to "Created in China." The development of a new type of shovel-type hydraulic excavator has broken the long-term monopoly of foreign technology in heavy equipment to China, improved China's independent research and development capabilities in the field of heavy equipment, and laid the foundation for the subsequent development of major excavation equipment with 1,000 tons of independent property rights.

Double Girder Gantry Crane is composed of gantry,crane trolley, trolley traveling  mechanism,cab and electric control system.The gantry is of box-shape structure, the girder is bias track double girder and the leg is divided into Type A and Type U according to user's requirements. The closed cab is employed for operation, where there are adjustable seat, insulating mat on the floor, toughened glass for the window, fire extinguisher, electric fan and auxiliary equipment such as air conditioner, acoustic alarm and interphone which can be furnished as required by users.
