On Monday, February 9, 2015, Northbrook firefighters responded to a fire at 2225 Greenview Road early in the morning. The incident involved a large, one- and two-story home with a flat roof, from which heavy smoke was visible rising from the top. Due to the severity of the situation, the alarm was upgraded to a Code 4, prompting additional units from Northfield and Glenview to assist in the effort.
The fire was quickly brought under control, and no injuries were reported. Firefighters worked efficiently to contain the flames, preventing further spread to nearby structures. The cause of the fire is still under investigation by local authorities.
