Hey everyone,
This message is from Josh Boyajian. He just shared some updates about the changes happening at the Lisle Woodridge Fire Protection District. Last month marked the first full month they’ve been using their new station numbering system provided by DuComm. Here’s what the updated station numbers look like:
Medic 55 is currently out being re-chassis’d. It’s expected to return as a brand-new International Dura Star vehicle. In its place, Engine 52 has already been put into service. The previous Pierce Dash Engine that was stationed at Station 2 is now known as Engine 55. Josh even sent over some photos of Engine 55 and Reserve Medic 53 for us to check out.
Let’s break down the current setup for each station:
**Station 51:**
- Medic 51
- Engine 51
- Ladder 51
- Battalion 51
**Station 52:**
- Medic 52
- Engine 52
- Squad 52
**Station 53:**
- Tower Ladder 53
- Reserve Medic 53
**Station 54:**
- Engine 54
**Station 55:**
- Medic 55
- Engine 55
I’ve also added two images below. The first one shows Reserve Medic 53, and the second one features Engine 55. Both photos were taken by Josh himself. Take a look!

It’s exciting to see all these updates and how the district is moving forward with its modernization efforts. Let me know if you have any questions or thoughts about these changes!
Best,
