Using Oil Dielectric Loss Tester Notes

Use oil dielectric loss tester Note:

1. The instrument must be reliably grounded, otherwise the instrument will alarm and will not enter the main menu.

2. Before taking the oil cup from the instrument, be sure to turn off the power.

3, after the oil cup is installed, first detect the empty cup, the capacitance value should be 60 ± 2pF, dielectric loss is less than 0.005%; if the capacitance value is greater than 62, should be reinstalled, dielectric failure should be re-cleaning the oil cup.

4、Because the new oil cup may have dust or rags, after the new oil cup is installed, it should be cleaned with the sample oil three times (add the sample oil, rotate the inner electrode up and down, left and right, and then drain away), and the cleaning effect will be better after heating. it is good.

5, when installing the porcelain column, pay attention to moderate force, not excessive force, so as not to damage the porcelain column, or cause the capacitor value after installation is not qualified.

6, the temperature hole must be injected about 140ml oil! Otherwise the temperature is out of control when heated!

7, each injection of the external electrode sample oil is about 40ml.

8. After the oil cup is dirty, it should be cleaned strictly according to the cleaning method, otherwise it will cause incorrect measurement results due to dirt.

9. When using cleaning agents, use solvents such as petroleum ether that are easily dissolved in test oils, volatile and non-toxic.

10. The components of the oil cup are made by precision machining. Strictly prevent scratching during disassembly, cleaning, and movement. Otherwise, the parameters of the empty electrode cannot meet the technical requirements.

11, because the liquid is easy to oxidize, so the heating time should not exceed 60 minutes, reach the predetermined temperature should be measured within 10 minutes, do not wait for a long time.
