New SONOS router eliminates blind spots on the network

If you have a Sonos multi-room sound system that doesn't cover the network blind spot, it can be very annoying. Now that Sonos has good news for you, the new Sonos acceleration is a high-power signal amplifier that extends Sonos' proprietary network coverage. The $99 device that connects directly to your router will become the first node in Sonos's mesh network, eliminating the need for other Sonos components to be hard-wired to the router. The boost also provides a gateway to access storage devices through routers, the Internet, and your home network.
The company released new software to make the system run on a Wi-Fi network. It is also not necessary to use a hardwired one node to connect to the router. The new Sonos node hard-wired to your network will not generate any busy points, it can use your network as a wireless network bridge elsewhere, or redeploy on the repeater.
