This message is from Mike Lopina: While driving north on I-294, I noticed a fire alert and heard traffic reports indicating a fire on or in the roof of a building. The structure at 10511 W United Parkway is a one-story non-combustible building measuring 350 feet by 150 feet. From the tollway, it looked like the fire could escalate to an extra alarm, but by the time I arrived (about 10 minutes later), the fire had already been extinguished. The responding units did an excellent job containing the fire to just the rooftop HVAC unit and some spread to the roof deck. Units involved included Schiller Park Engine 5, Tower Ladder 5, Ambulance 5, and Battalion 5, along with Franklin Park Truck 2, Leyden Quench 133, Norwood Park Engine 101, and Franklin Park Battalion 490. It was impressive to see how quickly the crews responded and handled the situation, especially considering the extreme heat. Great work by all the firefighters on scene! 1) Before using the machine check the condition of engine oil and coolant to ensure no shortage of oil and coolant in the process of using.
2) run time note: when start the diesel engine if it has not started within 15 s you should repeat it after 2 minuts.Diesel engine should be idle running 2-3 min after starting then be normal work.and oil pressure should be higher than 120 kpa in that time.
