China Paint will use Bayer MaterialScience curing agent

It is reported that in the implementation of higher standards for product quality and the mid-June, Bayer MaterialScience signed a co-branding contract with Germany to establish a strategic partnership. Since then, PU paint products from Chinese lacquer will use Bayer MaterialScience's hardener products. It is reported that after the use of Bayer MaterialScience Curing Agent in Chinese paint, the TDI content of finished wood paint will be less than 0.1%, which is far lower than the national standard and truly low TDI, safety and environmental protection.
For the future direction of the development of wood coatings, Chinese lacquer and Bayer MaterialScience reached a consensus. By reducing TDI (toluene diisocyanate), a harmful substance to human health, the use of solvents is reduced, raw materials for high solids systems are developed, and organic solvent emissions are effectively reduced.
