On July 21, two Yuchai supporting machinery projects in Yuzhou District of Yulin City were started or put into operation, with a total investment of 130 million yuan.
The project started was Yulin Huanyang Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. This is a new Yuchai supporting machinery project on the idle site of the Chengbei Paper Supply and Marketing Co., Ltd. that has ceased production. The total investment is 60 million yuan, mainly gear castings. The project construction will be carried out in two phases. The first phase of the project will be completed and put into production in September 2008. The second phase will be completed by June 2009. After the completion of the entire project, it can process and produce 20,000 tons of gear castings, annual production value of 100 million yuan, and annual profit and tax of 10 million yuan.
The project that was put into production was Yulin Xinhan Electronic Machinery Co., Ltd., which is a supporting and cooperative enterprise of Yuchai Machinery and Wuling Machinery. The company is jointly invested and established by Yulin Daxin Machinery Factory and the owner of Guangdong, with a total investment of 70 million yuan. The company has three production lines including cold processing, core cleaning and automatic casting processing. It mainly produces four categories of more than 300 kinds of products such as automobile engine flywheels, exhaust pipes, brackets, and pulleys. The project was carried out in two phases. The first phase has been completed and put into production. It is expected that all projects will be completed and put into production before February 2009. The annual output value will reach 200 million yuan, and the annual profits and taxes will be 15 million yuan. More than 800 people can be employed.
